Biomass gasification offers a promising pathway for producing hydrogen-rich syngas; however, the influence of upstream gasification conditions on downstream combustion and pollutant formation remains insufficiently understood. Unlike studies examining these processes separately, this study directly couples gasification-derived syngas compositions with CFD-based combustion analysis. Hazelnut husk gasification was modeled at 1073-1273 K using air, oxygen-enriched air, and oxygen via a thermodynamic equilibrium approach. The resulting syngas compositions were subsequently analyzed using an Eddy Dissipation Concept combustion model with detailed chemical kinetics. At 1073 K, increasing the oxygen concentration of the gasifying agent raised the H2 molar fraction from 19.66% to 32.62% and the syngas lower heating value from 5.61 to 10.22 MJ/Nm3. Oxygen-blown syngas produced peak flame temperatures of 2100-2150 K, compared with 1550-1650 K for air-blown cases. The maximum local centerline NOX mass fraction approached 4.0 & sdot;10-5. The corrected outlet NOX concentrations were 0.349-0.959, 2.873-4.126, and 11.027-11.488 ppmvd at 15% O2 for air-, oxygen-enrichedair-, and oxygen-blown gasification, respectively. The integrated framework identifies oxygen-enriched air as a favorable compromise between syngas quality, combustion intensity, and NOX control.
