Variational iteration method for solving boundary value problems with jump discontinuities

In this study, He's variational iteration method will be used for the boundary value problems with jump discontinuities. The method depends on constructing a correction functional by a general Lagrange multiplier. An example is given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method. The exact solution is obtained by only one iteration. This confirms that the method is a powerful mathematical tool to get the solutions easily by reducing the volume of calculations.
