In the paper, various aspects of ethics education in mining engineering are discussed. First, a brief historical account of the subject is presented and current practices are mentioned. Then, by considering a typical outline of course of study, evaluations have been made within the framework of "UCEAT Code of Professional Ethics", and typical case studies related to engineering ethics have been summarized. In addition, a method widely used for analyzing ethical problems has been explained, some fundamental and ambiguous concepts have been examined, and recommendations that can be helpful in educational efforts have been presented.
